In January 1958, in the Paris area, three French engineers launched a complete thermoforming packaging line working continuously and revolutionized the whole packaging industry. One machine only, heats the plastic sheet, forms, fills, seals and cuts the cups by one or by group.
They founded the company PLASTIMECANIQUE and become the supplier of the food industry (especially dairy industry), as well as to the pharmaceutical industry, in terms of thermoforming packaging integrating the production, the filling and the sealing of the cup.
The company got a worldwide monopoly and patented many technical solutions.
